Car X - online PC (and mobile) drifting
Hi there! There have not been any fresh post for a while, but that is not because I'd run out of ideas, but because I am on wait for a bits on all the current projects, so at the moment I am just practicing all the time on the track.
To spend my free time at home before the goodies I need arrive, I play this game if have found on Youtube, so I think I could share it with you, guys.
(Video is not my production)
The concept of the game is simple. You drift on the bunch of tracks either offline or you connect through a lobby to with other players. Drifting earns you money, which you spend to unlock more cars and visual/performance upgrades. That's pretty much it, but in the end, it's all I need to have fun. Everything is quick and smooth, no waiting for a loading screens or anything.
You can customize all the exterior parts with a variety of options. Don't expect so many options as in the NFS or other series, but you can still make your car look pretty dope.
Performance and handling of the car can be customized pretty well too, and it really affect how the car drives.
There is enough options to play around with and going from RC drifting environment, you will find many familiar ones, which you deal with on your 1/10 drift machine.
In the multi player lobby you will find a plenty of players to hoon with and after you get into it, you can enjoy really fun action and tandems, which will leave you smiling ear to ear.
In the multi player you can also create a mini events/competitions to match your skills to the other players and have an extra fun.
Visual side of the game is fairly nice. There are some beautiful sceneries and after a solid run, you can sit back and enjoy a replay video from different perspectives.
Believe me, it's pretty satisfying to gather a high speed and pull out and aggressive entry into a large corner.
If you own a PC wheel controller, or at least a gamepad, it is definitely a bonus, but after a little bit of practice, you can control the car with no problems at all.
